Word has reached Greener Leith of plans to extend 20mph speed limits in two areas.
The most significant new 20mph limit is now in force on the Southern half of Constitution Street. This 20mph limit has been put in place in response to locals concerns over increased traffic volumes on the street.
Whilst many have welcomed the step as a positive response from the council other residents on the street are somewhat dischuffed that the 20mph limit does not extend all the way to Baltic Street.
Letters have also been sent to residents of the Lochend Terraces that the colonies will soon be designated a 20mph zone too.
