Wardie Bay resident Nikki MacLeod was lucky enough to find herself walking on the beach at Wardie Bay with a camera when the tide was exceptionally low.
She managed to snap some pictures of the remarkable Firth of Forth wildlife that is normally hidden to most people except divers. Most of these photos were posted to her Facebook account, but we liked them so much we asked them if we could repost them here too.
Nikki also knows what she is talking about too as she lectured on these kinds of things at a local University. She has helpfully labelled some of the photos so that we know what we are looking at.

If you manage to capture any good wildlife photos in and around Leith we’re always happy to publish them here.
